We are passionate about our Bengal cats and undertook this great adventure in 2006.The Bengals are an important part of our family sharing our house and garden actually our life with us. Our Bengals are free spirits and never caged. Our goal is raising  small house leopards  with a stunning wild expression a sturdy agile body and a wild walk. We focus on socializing our kittens together with the other Bengals to accomplish playful and gorgeous kittens.  If you have dreamed of owning magnificent, beautiful wild feline and behaviour that will steal your heart, then Bengal cats are the perfect pet for you.

Bengals are also fond of playing with water. Don’t be surprised if your Bengal wants to join you in the shower or the bathtub. Bengals just can’t resist  the sound of trickling water, even water in a vase  can be too much to resist, or your cup of tea. If that’s not on your agenda, they will appreciate having a pet fountain to drink from.

Bengals are a lot of fun to live with, but they’re definitely not the cat for everyone or for first-time cat owners. Extremely intelligent, curious and active, they love a lot of interaction. If you won’t be home during the day to entertain your Bengal, plan to have two of them. When a Bengal gets bored, he is capable to examine and taking things apart to see how they work and opening drawers and cabinets to see what interesting toys or food might be available for him.

Our bengals are very sociable and they love to get your attention, not only for play. They delight in sharing quality time with each other and us because they just love hugging, snuggles and cuddles.

A Bengal is a cat who needs a lot of vertical territory. Bengals love to climb, the higher the better. Provide them with tall cat trees and window perches. Create a trail for them and make use of furniture in your rooms, adding  bookshelves. We of course got wild and hauled branches to create vertical paths and tall cat trees. Another easy solution is enlarging your window sill, to create an purrrrfect look-out for them.

Bengals are also highly intelligent and enjoy the attention that comes with learning by play. We challenge their brain and keep them interested by teaching them tricks and games and provide them with interactive toys or puzzle that will reward them with a treat when they learn to manipulate them.

Bengals sleep the greater part of the day and they certainly are not your laid-back lap cat! They are often quite naughty and loud and can be a handful. Bengals are also very intelligent, therefor they learn new things easily. The new family of one of our kittens trained him to go for a walk on a harness and leash. Ryu loved it and he is not the only kitten and training  him was not difficult, just learning by play.
